Moving the page

Welcome to the new page. I've moved the journal here on the suggestion of a friend because it will be easier for you to view and comment, easier for me to post, and there will be pictures!

Unfortunately, there's nothing to write about right now, training has been suspended until January 3rd. This is our usual holiday break, most of the company is on leave, scattered about the country. There is about 50 of us here from Alpha company (257 total) who didn't take the full leave. Some of them are married and there family is already in Quantico, some didn't want to go home (Venechuck didn't want to go home to Alaska, it's -40F there), and others, like me, are close enough to home that we can take the 96s (4 day passes) for Christmas and New Years and drive back in between them. It's a lot of driving and it cuts up my leave, but if I didn't do that I'd have to take 16 days of leave out of the 30 I get per year. I'm not sure what will happen after TBS, how long I will have to wait for flight school, so I'm banking that leave for then.

It's not too bad here, we wake up for a 0900 formation, check in, and we go on our way. I've got stuff I need to do around here anyways, I can use the time.

Comments:
Oh. My. God. Josh took my advice. Josh took MY advice.
*HUGE grin*

Welcome to Blogger. Lemme know if I can help with anything. :)

(See? I told you I'd post comments if you switched.)
