The CMU-33 AIRSAVE survival vest and integrated lifting (rescue) harness. This is the newer of the vests we wear while flying the T-34. At first I thought I lucked out in getting one of the new ones. After trying to squeeze into the cockpit this morning and put parachute and seat harness straps over it, I'm not so sure.

I was sitting here daydreaming while I was waiting for your blog page to come up -- I was still zoned out when the pictures appeared until I realized that "Darth Vader" was skipping across my brain. :) I see that it struck Harmony the same way. I'm glad for the pictures; but you did a pretty good job of describing the vest over the phone.
