Follow Me Squiddy!

Yep, that's me in the lead. By luck of the draw, I was issued one of our T-34s marked with Marines on the tail instead of Navy. With only about 70 hours of flight time and only about six hours of formation flying, SNAs fly the formation solo. It's just you and your partner, twenty feet apart at speeds as fast as 230 mph and as low as 1000'. The picture was taken by my roommate who was riding in the chase plane piloted by our instructor. That is so cool !!
Congratulate your roommate on a great shot, too. (a sharper focus on your plane would have made it perfect but don't tell him that)
It was so thrilling for us to see you land and take off in Charlotte.
I still don't know how you fit those long legs in that little plane! ;-)

They don't! My knees are almost in the damn instrument panel most of the time and I have to move my knees to see two of the gagues.

Way cool! Go get'm scratch! One day I'll show you my cool photos of my horse and I jumping. We fly, but only 6 feet at a time. Way cool!

oh wow! that's almost as good as seeing a blue angels show!!!

"remember when I asked you what happens if the angels wings touch each other?..."
